Rather than force you to slog through a post about what I'm thankful for, I would instead like to call your attention to (and encourage your participation in) a charitable program called TweetsGiving.
TweetsGiving was created by non-profit organization Epic Change to harness the power of social media (and in particular the passion of the Twitterati) to raise $10,000 to build a classroom in Tanzania. You don't need to be on Twitter to donate -- and every dollar helps. It's a great example of how organizations can use social media to drive social change but, more importantly, it is quite simply a great cause and a great way to give back.
Visit the TweetsGiving site to learn more about how you can get involved, and check out the #tweetsgiving feed from Twitter Search for a real time view into everything the social media crowd is thankful for this year.
