This is just a quick post to let everyone know that I am scheduled to present at the upcoming Business Smart Tools conference, on May 15th in Stamford CT. Conference organizer and marketing/PR maven Valorie Luther announced my addition to the agenda on her blog this week, so I figure its fair game to announce it here as well. My specific topic is TBD but you can assume I'll be talking about trends in new media and marketing.
Business Smart Tools, now in its second year, is a no BS event designed to help senior execs gain a solid understanding of how to apply emerging technologies and tap into emerging trends to meet day-to-day business challenges. Other speakers include IBM's chief blogging officer Chris Barger (a Digitas client) and Xerox's vp of internet marketing Duane Schulz, with more speakers to be confirmed.
I missed last year's event but heard that it was a big success, so if you're in the NY area and the agenda looks interesting, you may want to check it out.
(Disclosure: I am also on the Business Smart Tools advisory board although, to be clear, being an advisor does not guarantee a speaking slot. OK, maybe it helps, but it's not a sure thing.)

On an unrelated point, one of the tricky things about being a "working blogger" is that sometimes the work makes it difficult to find time to blog. Apologies for going light on new content for the past couple of days. More coming soon.
