A couple of months ago, I announced that I will be speaking at the Inbound Marketing Summit on September 8th in Cambridge, MA. I'm presenting thanks to my friends at HubSpot, winners of my services in Jennifer Leggio's social media charity auction.

Sounds like a pretty hot event, doesn't it? Well, what if I told you that you might be able to attend for free? Yep, one of my readers (let me say that again: ONE of my readers) will get to attend Inbound Marketing for free, courtesy of HubSpot. Here are the details...
What You'll Win
A free ticket to the Inbound Marketing Summit. The prize doesn't include travel; you'll need to pay your own way to Boston but you'll get into the event at no charge. A ticket normally goes for $695.
How To Enter
Leave a comment letting me know why you think you should receive the free pass. You can write about why you're deserving, what you hope to learn, who you hope to meet. Really, anything that you think will make an impression and cause me to think, "yup, he or she is the one."
How a Recipient Will be Selected
Entries will be judged by an expert panel: aka me. What am I looking for? I'll know it when I see it. I'd be lying if I said that I had devised a complex scoring system. There isn't a lot of science here. Just try not to be dopey -- a free pass is a pretty good deal, so I hope you'll take this seriously and provide a solid, well-thought-out response. And I expect that, if you get the pass, you'll make some time to say hi and maybe grab coffee with me during the day. Cool? Cool.
Other than that, I should probably state that employees of HubSpot or it's agencies and partners are ineligible. Sorry, but you know that's how these things work.
Deadline
I plan to review all comments on Monday, August 11 -- so in order to be eligible, you'll need to drop your comment here no later than 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time on the morning of 8/11/2008. Any comments (entries) received after the deadline will not be considered.
