The Age of Conversation dawns today

Aoctalkbubble

Today marks the release of The Age of Conversation, the innovative collaborative book that features contributions from more than 100 bloggers.

The brainchild of Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton, this book came together in just a few months (revolutionary for the printed word -- although it feels like I've been waiting ages to let you know that it's finally here) and can now be purchased in your choice of hardcover, paperback or e-book.  I've already blogged about this a couple of times, but as a reminder all proceeds will be donated to Variety the Children's Charity, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children around the world.

The project has already been featured in the Advertising Age Bookstore (I even get a gratuitous mention as a contributor and one of "the most innovative names in the industry," although Drew and Gavin are the real innovators here and the real credit for the quality of this book goes to the other authors) and Social Computing Magazine.

So now's your chance to buy your copy-- and check out my chapter, "Have You Hugged a Blogger Today" and the contributions of 100+ others (including lots of bloggers who have become indespensible reading for me.)

Here's the complete author list -- it's one hell of an impressive blogroll:
